What tends to give them away

  • Scratching or running heard in the ceiling void or wall at night
  • Droppings along a skirting, under the sink, or in the loft
  • Gnaw marks on cable, timber, or the corner of a food packet
  • A run — a greasy, worn track where the same path is used nightly

How the barrier deals with it

  2. 02 Proofing — the gap is sealed to below body width, because a barrier with a hole is not a barrier
